If you want to write a good sermon that can convince and inspire people to listen and be moved to listen to God’s word, there are some tips that you can follow to do so. There are some scriptures from the Bible that are so convincing and will open your mind on how bad a sinner you are. These Words of God will allow you to think that you are never going to make it to salvation hence you can do a big favor to a hundred people or so by sharing what you think to them through a sermon.

Foremost is to be a master of your subject before trying to write a good sermon. In order to do this, you need to enhance your credibility and increase your confidence by learning about the scriptures well. One subject you need to really know is the fact that God loves a sinner who is honest. If you are willing to confess your sins before your brothers and sisters in the congregation like when you are attending a service in a baptist church; this means you are departing from your evil ways and in return, you will be healed.

If you do away with wrongdoings, you become healthy spiritually. God is so patient and kind that even if your sins are so many, your will be forgiven if you know how to ask God’s forgiveness. You need to understand this through God’s grace since His timing is so perfect that you will be able to learn from His example.

During one of your sermons, make some illustrations about your own sin to make them more understandable. Your audience will then feel a lot better because they assume that they aren’t as bad as you. Another tip in making your sermon worth listening to is to speak not out of knowledge but from experience. The best illustrations come from the stories of their own lives and not stories taken from books. Preachers must be aware that what is more profound to your audience is when you have lived the truth and have seen it working in your own life.

When you write your sermon and even as you are sharing them, don’t be afraid to share the truth to the point of being hurtful. It is vital to share your feelings, actions, and words honestly. This must be done so that sins may be conquered because even the worst transgression can be healed by true repentance and by God’s grace.

In writing your sermon, don’t fear of writing and later preaching a long one, as long as you make it interesting and convincing. People will always listen if they get benefits from what you convey to them.

Your sermon must be backed up by valid sources like the Bible. You can start your sermon by reading from the scriptures and explain this by leading an argument still taken from the scriptures. You can go even deeper but you will never go wrong when your evidences are quoted from the most vital source which is the Bible.

All of us sin from time to time, and even the most faithful of us have one or two since that he or she is praying to repent. Sometimes we are tested and sometimes we succumb to temptation, both of those will show our true character, especially when we are tested on our faith. In the modern times, there are too much going on in the world and a lot of us stray from the right path. The world offers countless of evils that may be the reason for people having to let go their belief system and become worldly.

One of the reasons why people are so easily swayed by the evils is that they have very little anchor to their faith. Whether in any denomination, if a member does not have enough grip, they will most likely lose their way. Keeping faith is very hard at this day and age, and there is a big movement to help those in need of spiritual guidance to seek it with local churches and charismatic groups as they are more than happy to take back a ‘lost sheep’. Even in Kentucky, there are a lot of non denominational churches in Lexington KY which anyone are welcome to join to help them renew their belief and strength.

There is a growing agreement in all Christian leaders in the country that there is a need to truly reach out and discover ways and structures that will meet this period’s hedonistic lifestyle which is the reason why many young believers are led astray. These people have had their faith disintegrate in the face of a more lenient and far tempting lifestyle.

But even for those who want to change their behaviour and return to the life of the faithful, they are too ashamed and far too worried that they will undergo that reverting of faith alone, not knowing that they can find non denominational churches in Lexington KY that will be able to gently guide them back and ensure that they will lead a more prayerful and God-worshipping lives instead of the opposite.

Non denominational churches in Lexington KY are but a few of the most active charismatic churches that may help in keeping the faith alive and help members feel like they are truly part of something, truly part of a bigger community. These are one of God’s ways to keep his people renewed and connected to Him, giving them a chance despite their shortcomings, their sins, to deliver us from temptation.
